Folio & Portrait Sessions

I approach every session as a collaboration.

Before we shoot, we’ll take some time to clarify what you need the images for and where you see yourself heading — whether that’s a career shift, updated representation, personal branding, or simply a refresh.

We’ll put together a moodboard to establish tone, styling direction and overall feel. This also gives us space to discuss your future direction. We can chat via email, phone or over a video call.

Session Options

Option 1: Folio Update
A shorter session suited to a concise folio update.

45 minutes
Six final images included

Option 2: Standard Folio Shoot
Allows for a broader range while keeping the session focused.

60 minutes | Up to five looks
Eight final images included

Option 3: Extended Folio Shoot
Provides more time to develop variety across different looks or moods

90 minutes | Up to eight looks
Twelve final images included

A straightforward session specifically for professional headshots.

30 minutes | Headshots only

Bring a Friend Sessions

If you would like to discuss booking a group booking of 2 or more people please get in touch.

You’ll each be photographed individually with your own time in front of the camera, but you’ll share the overall studio environment.

When booked together, each person receives:

• Additional images

• Extended session time

• Discounted hair and makeup (if desired)

Hair & Makeup

Professional hair and makeup is available for Option 2 and Option 3.

Standard sessions (Option 2 & 3): approximately $330.00 Inc GST (depending on the artist booked)

The artists I work are commercially qualified with a focus on natural, camera-ready finishes and are happy to take creative direction before or during the shoot. 

Image Selection & Retouching

I work with a quality-over-quantity approach. It’s not uncommon for me to spend significant time refining a single image using non-destructive techniques. Heavy airbrushing isn’t part of my standard process unless specifically requested.

Roughly a week after you shoot, you will receive a link to a password protected proofs gallery. I will provide a shortlist of my suggested selections, however you are free to make your selections from the entire gallery.

Once the final images have been selected and confirmed, they will be retouched and refined and delivered in both colour and black and white where suitable.

Styling

Styling is self-provided, though I’m happy to offer direction.

In general:

• Keep clothing simple and well-fitted

• Ensure garments are pressed

• Avoid visible logos/branding

• Vintage or worn-in pieces often work well

Colours that tend to photograph well with my style include white, grey, darker blues, black and denim.

We’ll refine styling further once the moodboard and direction are established.

Booking Process

1. Confirm your preferred session option and if you would like to book a hair and makeup artist (option 2 and 3 only)

2. Lock in a date

3. Develop our moodboard and overall creative direction

4. Finalise styling

Full payment is due on the day of the shoot but a deposit of 25% may be requested to lock in the date. 

Cash, EFT and credit card are accepted. I can also accept payment via paypal’s pay in 4 feature.
